Where the good "crumbs" gather!

Outdoors is where I like to spend most of my time enjoying nature. Spring gets me out to turn dirt, I love the smell of soil. Summer, I get drawn to the mountains and lakes to refresh. We get up early to trailride the horses, on a hot day, we'll lead them down to the river and go for a swim. My husband works such long hard hours at his excavation business, that we feel really lucky when we finally get to spend a sunset with him on his McGregor sail boat. Before we know it fall and winter come with the holidays. But we love the snow because it shuts the excavation down and we have a daddy around to snowmobile and snowboard with. So you can see we really are the outdoors type. If we do happen to get cooped up in the house, you can bet there will be some action in the kitchen. We are famously known around town for Daddys almost Healthy Bread and Country Boy syrup. On a indoor note, I also enjoy cuddling up with my Schnauzer to read a good history book. Love reading with the kids too. When I find time, the running sound of the sewing machine is so soothing to my soul. On top of all this I try to practice daily on the piano and my French horn. Goodness, talk about working hard at being well rounded crumbs. Wow, blogging is a wonderful way to count my many blessings. Hope you enjoy our site.

Another Hidden Oasis

To much fun at the Bread box on easter weekend. Took all the crumbs and went camping to a wonderful place. Even the crumb dusters got to go! Just to experience the majesty and creation of this place was ah-inspiring. We went to an old quartz mine and dug for a few, went four wheelin, hikin and ate lots of good camp food. The kids found some hollow rocks you could stand up inside of and one had two rooms. It was awesome looking at the rock stuctures and seeing a variety of different shapes. Oh well It's to bad we had to come home, but I'm sure we'll return to this place for sure.
